1. Interest Rate

Whilst you are repaying the amount we advanced on your behalf, there is an interest rate charged to your account with us for the outstanding reducing balance on a daily basis.

The current Standard Member rate is 14.45% pa.
The current Standard Non Member rate is 16.45% pa.
Note: Higher Non Standard rates may apply in certain circumstance.

2. Disbursement Fee

When you submit a Direction To Pay (DTP) form and instruct us to pay a doctor(s) and/or hospital/clinic there is a disbursement fee applied to your account with us. This fee is currently 7% of the total amount disbursed (up to a maximum of $295) and is added to your account with us. This fee covers the cost of processing payments on your behalf.

These are the only two charges the Mediplan Line of Credit Facility has – there are no other ‘hidden’ charges that Banks and Credit Cards typically have. We do not charge you for Statement Copies, Direct Debits, Defaults and Dishonours, Changing your Repayment cycles or changing Repayment amounts, Lump Sum Payments, Early Pay Outs or Monthly Administration Fees.
